I had the opportunity to provide entertainment for university students at\u00a0Mount Allison University\u00a0in Sackville, New Brunswick this week. \u00a0It was my 5th time performing at the University and each time seems better than the last! \u00a0<\/p>\n

I’ve performed in several places on the campus over the years, and this year was perhaps my favourite. \u00a0The show was in a small theatre that sat about 300, called the Brunton Auditorium in the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music. \u00a0<\/p>\n

I know the pic is blurry, \u00a0but taking a selfie during a show is difficult! \u00a0<\/p>\n

The students also gave me a nice treat bag with Mount A sunglasses, a water bottle, \u00a0a shirt, an egg cooker, and a stress duck (like a stress ball, \u00a0but looks like a rubber duckie). \u00a0<\/p>\n

My favourite Mount Allison University story<\/h2>\n

My favourite story about a show at Mount Allison University was in 2017 when Incas scheduled to perform. \u00a0As happens in New Brunswick in the winter there was a snowstorm. \u00a0The entire university closed down, including the venue for the show. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The students called and cancelled the show. \u00a0I was obviously disappointed I couldn’t go, \u00a0but understood given the circumstances. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Then they called back and asked if I would be willing to come. \u00a0Of course I was! \u00a0Weather doesn’t stop me! \u00a0But there was a catch, \u00a0as the University was closed we had to do the show in the dorm. \u00a0So there I went. \u00a0I did an entire show in the lobby of the dorm, with a wall to wall group of university students crammed in. \u00a0<\/p>\n

It was great to have everyone so close to the action! \u00a0It was also nice this year to offer a totally different experience by having them in a theatre. \u00a0Also, \u00a0it was great to drive back to Nova Scotia on roads that weren’t covered in snow! \u00a0<\/p>\n
