Corporate Christmas Parties

Corporate shows are my favourite!  I'm just finishing my second weekend of the 2017 Corporate Holiday Party season.  I performed my corporate hypnosis entertainment for a total of 5 groups in the last 2 weeks,  and have another 14 corporate entertainment events before Christmas.   My Saturday night hypnosis show was especially fun as I finally had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Shipyard Weddings location in Summerside PEI.  Their Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/ShipyardWeddingsAndEvents/ It's great to be back in Summerside doing hypnosis shows,  I haven't performed in Summerside for almost 10 months,  but I'll be back at the Shipyard again next Saturday night (I think there's still about 20 tickets available but selling fast!) It's very rewarding to be one of the top Corporate Entertainers in Canada.  Being requested back multiple times is the most rewarding part of doing…

Las Vegas Rock and Roll Marathon!!!

I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas for the Rock N Roll Marathon this past weekend.  It was the first large, outdoor event held in Vegas since the horrible mass shooting at the country music festival last month.  Visiting Vegas gave me a chance to see Marc Savards show at Planet Hollywood.  I've seen it many times, because Marc does a great show which is mostly suitable for all audiences.  The ending is not so suitable for all audiences,  but it works in vegas!  Marc is also one of my favourite people in the profession.  He's welcoming to visiting hypnotists and always encouraging new people.  Years ago I sent him an email to say I was coming to the show,  he didn't know me but responded to the email,  and even took time to sit down and chat with…

Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition

On Wednesday Aug 30 @ 8:00pm I had the chance to return to the Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition for my 6th time!  The exhibition website is at http://ense.ca It was a real treat to see so many people I'd met in previous years,  including the sound engineer Fred Alexander from One Stop Entertainment .   Fred had done my sound at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition just the week before.   However between those two shows I had to make a quick trip to Chicago for an event there.   I perform in many different locations,  and one thing neat about the Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition is that the show is done on a small stage in the middle of the cattle showing ring.  Dirt floor is all around me.  A long way from the fancy theatres I often find myself in.  …

Scott Ward Hypnotist

I was just checking out a few websites and found a link to my website on fellow hypnotist Scott Ward's website!  I love when other hypnotists share links.  Scott Ward also included links to many hypnotists throughout North America.  Many of the top names are there,  and I was happy to see my name at the top!   I have sadly never met Scott Ward,  but I hope out paths cross someday.  Here's a link to the page on his site that links (well,  not functioning links,  you have to copy and paste but you can do that!).  http://www.scottward.net/media-kit/links/other-links   Enjoy and Thank you to Hypnotist Scott Ward!     PS.  I'll start blogging more.  I've had some amazing adventures lately!

MSVU Welcome Week!

I love performing at universities and the beginning of September is always busy with Welcome week events.  At MSVU this year I had a ton of fun.  See the selfie I took below mid show. A great surprise at the event was the magician they had on to start the evening.  Wes Barker,  he's on the current season of Americas Got Talent,  and a very funny show!  Can't wait to see him again!  Check out his site at http://www.wesbarker.ca http://www.msvu.ca/en/home/studentservices/studentsunion/orientation/default.aspx was a link to the list of all the great activities they had this year!

Ice Bucket Challenge

I'm truly in awe of the amazing success of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They did something fun, a bit crazy, a lot of fun and made a lot of money for a great cause.  Sure some people are mad because it wasted water and ice, because there are other causes that need funding too.  But people will complain about anything! As far as I see it good job ALS fundraisers!!!  An amazing effort to bring nice to a disease that is just plain horrible. I was (like everyone else) nominated to do the challenge.  I made a donation and thought it was a good idea to try and make it just a little bit different.  With my career in corporate entertainment I came up with this:

My Book

Somehow a lot of people don't know I'm also an author.  My book "The Hypnosis Handbook" was originally sold as a paperback book.  Then with changes in technology it became available on iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/ca/book/the-hypnosis-handbook/id468749068?mt=11 . The book talks about what I've learned as a hypnotist and my career in corporate entertainment. I'm going to be releasing my new book soon on accomplishing goals.  I've been working on it for a long time,  and am really happy with the progress.  It will feature more information on how the mind works, funny stories from my stage hypnosis shows, and a ton of other stuff I've learned as a hypnotist. I'm sure I'll talk about it too...

Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition

I try and take the summer off.  I really do!  But there are so many events I really enjoy performing at,  I can't say no. The Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition is one show I always enjoy.  I've performed at the exhibition 18 years now!!!  Some years I've presented my stage hypnosis show,  other years my juggling and magic shows. Today I did my juggling and magic show.  Was so much fun to see so many friends in the crowd.  I ended by blowing the biggest fireball I think I've ever done. Oh yeah,  I also broke the world record for Axe Juggling.  The old record was 369 throws and catches by Chris Marley in the UK.  He did an awesome job,  but I think I kinda smashed this one out of the park.  I'll post more about that when I…
