Larry Moss

Tonight I had an awesome chat with my friend Larry Moss.  Most people have no idea who he is.  But to balloon twisters around the world he’s considered a king!

We met at the Halifax International Buskers Festival many years ago.  And as unlikely as it may seem became fast friends.

The guy has built many mega balloon sculptures.  We’re not talking about twisting dogs and swords here.  On one occasion he built a giant octopus with over 20,000 balloons, filled it with helium balloons that were 8 feet around, put a guy on top and let it go.  It landed in Lake Ontario and the Coast Guard brought it back in.  We were in New York state at the time.  I remember I was asked to work on that project and I’m the only person who made an entire tentacle by myself.

He’s also made a 40,000 ballon sculpture of 2 soccer players.

It’s interesting how as a stage hypnotist and chainsaw juggler I’ve managed to make so many interesting friends.  Larry is probably the worlds greatest balloon twister and one amazing friend.  Can’t wait to see him again.
