Today I spent the entire day in the office. Did the part of show business that is, well, “business”.
Many performers hate this part of the job. Contracts, email, promo materials, website, phone calls and chatting on FaceBook. Well maybe the chatting on Facebook is optional.
I really enjoy my office days. It lets me see what kind of shows I’m doing the most of. These days I’m busy with corporate entertainment. I’ve had years where I did a lot of University Hypnosis shows. I can see in the near future that I’ll be doing a lot of presentations with chainsaw juggling.
I can easily get off task when I spend a day in the office. Most of my best ideas come from looking at the over 2500 shows I’ve performed and seeing where I’m headed!
